I was a member at the church for four years while my husband was stationed at DM. You were such a great resource for me and my family. Even though my son quindon was still small at the time he still remembers the family that took care of him while I attended school and who treated him like one of their own. I was so blessed to have you as a part of our lives. I took many of the cd's with me when we moved to a different base and it helped keep me uplifted. I cant wait to read a chapter at night before I go to bed. Its a calendar/devotional format where it has 365 wonderful blessing. Very well done and easy to read for old and young. I highly recommend this little book that has wonderful hidden blessings. And at the same time you become very grateful for everything . Its a keeper . I read several quotes each morning and I have found myself on several occasions, sharing that same wisdom with a loved one later in the day. This book makes a great gift. This author has other books available as well. Rev. Amos L. Lewis is a writer to watch. - Shella Gillus I have truly enjoyed this book by Pastor Lewis. I especially appreciate all of the Bible references associated with each pearl of wisdom. It has encouraged me to see the Proverbs in a more practable perspective. This book will never ecome dated because of the principals avocated. - Pastor Otis F. Brown Jr. Siloam Freewill Church Tucson, AZ I have thoroughly enjoyed reading the Pearls of Wisdom for Everyday Living. Each day I look for a witty saying or biblically based quote that meets my need for that day and always seem to find just the right one. It's like having a handy summary of life's lessons right at your fingertips that are so spiritually bound and straightforward. which is great in our current convoluted world. I also have the companion Life' Journal so that I can capture significant thoughts, actions and events that occur each day. The journal enables me to capture the many good things that are still going on in spite of life's challenging. It's great to go back and review a particular day when things weren't going well and see just how good you handled it. Great set for friends and family. It's a great resource for those who do faith-based speaking. - D. Jenkins "Love Books" In these very difficult economic times, it is easy to get discouraged. This book helps you hold on to hope, faith and the promise that God will never abandon us. This book, along with the study guide, is something you'll definitely want to share with family, friends, and coworkers regardless of their stage in life or their walk in Christ. What I like about this journal is that it began at the beginning of the year and I can use it to record events in my life as well as prayers throughout the year.
